In October 2014 will be the first ever held an international conference on "The meaning and methods of swimming for infants and toddlers in individual countries", which will take place in the Czech Republic.
The organization of this international conference in Třinec is not accidental. A recognized pioneer and author of publications using the proper stimulation techniques of children from their birth, exercises and swimming in accordance with their psychomotor capabilities, and the founder of organized swimming for infants and toddlers in the Czech and the Slovak Republic, Eva Kiedroňová is a native and citizen of Třinec. In Třinec was born the idea of the infant swimming and in 1985 it was where put into practice. From there it was introduced throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.In Třinec was opened a training center for the whole Czech and the Slovak Republic.
The aim of the conference is to provide the meeting of instructors, professionals, parents and all those interested in the topic " The meaning and methods of swimming with children from the birth in individual countries" and through 21 thirty-minute lectures and structured debates in English or with English translation (headphones) to exchange experiences.
The three-day conference will take place from 3rd to 5th of October, 2014. On Friday evening a free space will be created for unorganized meeting of conference participants and the conference partners. On Saturday evening the representation evening ball will be held, rich in program characterizing the local Moravian-Silesian culture.
Based on preliminary research, we assume that the congress will be attended by approximately
120 instructors of infants and toddlers swimming from the Czech Republic and Slovakia
40 representatives of professionals such as pediatricians, psychologists, physiotherapists etc.
300 participants representing parents and the public
80 foreign leaders and guests from all over the world,
